The Cheerbrook Bakery is now well established and Mark has been joined by cake maker extraordinaire Debbie. We think, as indeed do competition judges (Gold Award 99/100 at the recent BPEX awards), that Mark’s Pork Pies are the best and Debbie is working to make her cakes and puds as good as Mark’s pies!
The Cheerbrook Pork Pie is jammed with the same Packington Farm free range pork we supply at the meat counter, seasoned to perfection and encased in a crisp water pastry – a fantastic basis for a ploughman’s lunch…
Debbie is developing new ideas and refining existing ones with Treacle Tart, Bread & Butter Pudding and Bakewell Tart among her delicious desserts. The Cheerbrook cake range is also expanding to include Crumble Slices, Millionaire Shortbread, light-as-air sponges and a selection of gluten free cakes. The most recent addition to the cakes is a Fruity Teabread which is delicious on it’s own but even better with a little butter!
