This really is the jewel in our crown, you’re unlikely to find a better display anywhere in the UK and that’s not just what we think. It’s a regular comment from our customer’s friends who come visiting – cool box in hand, ready to take a mouth watering selection home with them.
We source all our meat as locally as possible. The beef comes from The Holdcroft family who farm at Audley and our lamb from Rob Davenport at Sandbach. We have crossed the border into Staffordshire for our pork, but we wanted free range and Packington Farm at Burton upon Trent is the best, they also supply our free range chickens. We know that all our suppliers practice the highest standards of care and welfare ensuring the animals lives are as stress free as possible, which only adds to the taste. A stressed animal produces tough meat.
Our passion for food and knowledge of animal husbandry has led us to develop the skills of “seam” butchery, taking each muscle and utilising it to it’s maximum potential, removing sinews and connective tissue that traditional butchery leave behind. Providing you with a quality, waste free meal – a Cheerbrook plate is a clean plate!
