Best Farm Shop 2008/09
This is the first year we’ve entered The Federation of Meat Traders Top Shop Awards. What an absolute honour and complete surprise to win!
Fred A’Court, who came out to judge us, said our counter was in the top five of the whole country, which included all the specialist butchers shops, many who have been trading for generations. We are very proud. You can see our splendid silver trophy in pride of place at the counter next time you drop in.

St Luke’s Hospice car visits Cheerbrook
The St. Luke’s hospice ‘win a car for £1’ visited us on Friday. Volunteers Ed & Sue were delighted that we found them a spot inside out of the rain, and we were able to keep them topped up with tea & toast!
